Naiomy is a curator and writer who specializes in Black Latine modern and contemporary art and material culture. She is currently an Art History Graduate Center Fellow at the City University of New York (CUNY), she has also held fellowships at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) and the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). While at PAMM, Naiomy co-curated The Gift of Art: Permanent Collection Exhibition (2018), on the occasion of the museum’s 35th anniversary, and co-organized the first Latinx Art Sessions convening. Naiomy has worked with NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Twitter, Pulse Art Fair, National YoungArts Foundation, Latinx Project NYU, The New School, and the Walt Disney Animation Research Library. Her writing has appeared in Artsy, ARTNEWS, Arts.Black, and publications produced by Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, and the Bronx Museum of the Arts. Naiomy is currently pursuing a PhD in art history at CUNY, and holds a BA in Art History from DePauw University.
